On Possible Formation of Matter-Antimatter Exotic Molecular Structures

Mohamed Assaad Abdel-Raouf
Possible formation of exotic matter-antimatter molecular structure is considered as one of the most challenging problems at International Laboratories of Particle Physics. In the present work, elaborate computer codes built for investigating four-body systems are employed for calculating the binding energies of exotic molecules composed of electrons, protons, muons, pions and their antiparticles. The results confirm the stability of these molecules against dissociation to their lowest possible c...

Biomass Char Steam Gasification in Fluidized Reactor Using Nuclear Heat

Abdelhamid BELGHIT
The energy resources diversification has been increased with the energy crisis, in particular, the renewable energies and optimal management have become essential in the context of sustainable development. The conventional auto-thermal gasification processes burn part of the carbonaceous compound in order to supply the energy necessary to enhance gasification reactions. This energy could be provided as well by a nuclear reactor of IV generation. The nuclear heat is transferred from the VHTR to a...

Recurrent Neural Networks and Deep Neural Networks Based on Intrusion Detection System

The computer security has become a major challenge. Tools and mechanisms have been developed to ensure a level of compliance. These include the Intrusion De-tection Systems (IDS). The principle of conventional IDS is to detect attempts to attack a network and to identify abnormal activities and behaviors. The reasons, including the uncertainty in searching for types of attacks and the increasing com-plexity of advanced cyber-attacks, IDS calls for the need for integration of meth-ods such as Dee...

Power Influence and Conflict Management of Ready-to-Wear (RTW) Store Supervisors

Kim Edward S. Santos, Mary Chris Austria-Cruz
Conflict awareness would enable managers to tackle the problems of operational performance, sustainability, and governance, more efficiently and effectively. This paper described the Ready-to-Wear (RTW) Store Supervisors’ personal power profile in terms of reward, coercive, legitimate, referent, and expert; and described the conflict management styles, such as competing, collaborating, compromising, avoiding and accommodating. Further, this paper determined Sex Difference on the Personal Power P...

Comparative Evaluation of Some Physicochemical Properties on Selected Commercially Available Soaps on the Zambian Market

Christopher Mwanza, Kadango Zombe
The Zambian market has witnessed an impressive upsurge in the production and consumption of a variety of soaps in recent years. However, there is scant, if any, knowledge of the quality and safety of these soaps. In this undertaking, the quality of some selected soaps was evaluated. The soap samples were randomly obtained from various supermarkets. The qualities of soaps were assessed based on the following physicochemical parameters: free caustic alkali (FCA), moisture content (MC), total fatty...

Non-Operative Treatment of Odontoid Peg Fractures

Falethu M. Sukati, Mthunzi V. Ngcelwane, Maleho Maku
Objective: The aim of this study was to review the results of non-operative treatment of odontoid fractures in Steve Biko Academic Hospital, Pretoria. Methods: Records for all patients treated for odontoid fractures from 2008 to 2018 were reviewed. 28 patients met the study criteria. Demographic data, mechanism of injury, associated injuries, neurology, imaging studies and treatment were reviewed. Results: There were 23 males and 5 females. The average age at presentation was 39.5 years. 25 pati...

Adaptation and Participatory Evaluation of Shrub Forage Legumes in Highlands of Sud-Kivu, Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC)

Katunga Musale M. Dieudonné
Livestock in the highlands of DRC faces several constraints. It strongly decreased due to high rate of mortality, looting during the wars, lack of animal feeding and livestock still reared again under traditional system. However, shrub forage legumes can contribute to mitigate one part of these constraints and play an important role to improve livestock production. The objective of this study is to use for adaptation the improved shrub forage legumes previously tested by the International Center...

Electrochemical Engineering in the Core of the Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells (DSSCs)

Djamel Ghernaout, Attia Boudjemline, Noureddine Elboughdiri
Dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) are classed in the category of thin-film solar cells, which have been under thorough investigation during the last thirty years thanks to their low price, easy fabrication procedure, low toxicity and ease of generation. Even now, there are great efforts to substitute the present DSSC materials because of their elevated price, less abundance, and long-term stability. The performance of present DSSCs attains 12%, employing Ru(II) dyes via regulating material and ...
